Marinade for Lamb Spit Braai
(can also be used for pork)

350ml Pinotage Wine, or any dry wine of your choosing.
300ml Lemon Juice
350ml Vegetable Oil
4x Garlic Cloves
25ml Rosemary
25ml Oregano
15ml Salt
10ml coarsely grounded black pepper

25ml finely grated lemon peel

 

Marinade for a Pork Spit Braai

125ml Melted Butter
250ml Lemon Juice
10ml freshly grounded black pepper
5ml Grounded Ginger
10ml Paprika
1x Lemon Peel
2x Garlic Cloves
10ml Salt
2ml Ground Thyme
2x Ground Cloves

Web Rub for Spit

25ml Steak & Chops Mix
3tsp Black Pepper
1tsp White Pepper
Pinch of Garlic Salt
3tbsp Salt
300ml Wine
200ml Lemon Juice
300ml Olive Oil

Use little bits at a time over meat whilst on spit

Dry Rub for Spit

25ml Steak & Chops Spice
25ml Garlic Salt
Salt & Pepper

Rub on meat before the meat goes on the spit
